Awards & Grants

Every year the Moise A. Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies awards short term visiting fellowships, paper prizes and research grants to promote the careers of young scholars working on Middle East Diaspora projects, recognize outstanding scholarly studies about the Lebanese Diaspora, and celebrate the best artistic expressions of the experiences of Lebanese immigrants across the world.

  • Khayrallah Prize in Migration Studies ~ The Moise Khayrallah Lebanese Diaspora Studies Prize recognizes outstanding scholarly studies from any discipline focusing on Lebanese migration and diasporas. Submissions for 2020 Prizes will be accepted June 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020. 
  • Khayrallah Prize ~ The annual Khayrallah Prize recognizes the best artistic expression of the Lebanese Diaspora. Submissions for 2019 Prize will be accepted June 1, 2019 through October 1, 2019.
  • Visiting Scholar Grants ~ Grants for researchers—at all levels of their career from graduate students to senior scholars—to use the archives at the Khayrallah Center.
