Using the archives for history of Maronites in NC
Natasha Beathe, a fellow community member living in Charlotte, is a council member of the Maronite Mission of Charlotte and the head of communications. For the most recent edition of the Council’s newspaper, Natasha wrote about Lebanese Maronites living in North Carolina. As she wrote in her email to the Project, she used our materials as primary source research when writing the article. Each day, the project works hard to develop a canon of educational tools for use by, for and about the Lebanese American community. We are so glad that Natasha was able to put those tools to work–reading through the archive and finding historical materials that helped tell the story of religion among Lebanese living in the state.
And here’s another article contributed by Natasha focused on Bishop Mansour’s visit to North Carolina.
