Akram Khater

Dr. Akram Khater, Director: Akram is a professor of history at North Carolina State University. He has published extensively on Lebanese migration to the United States. He is also the Khayrallah Chair in Lebanese Diaspora Studies, a University Faculty Scholar, and the editor of the Mashriq & Mahjar: Journal of Middle East and North African Migration Studies.

Diana Lopez Molina, Business Service Coordinator: Diana is the primary contact for the center’s administrative, financial, and human resources operations. Before joining the Khayrallah Center she worked in Facilities HR at NC State. She obtained a BS in Psychology from NCCU.

Lindsey Waldenberg, Director of Research: Lindsey manages the center’s research projects, programs, and grant initiatives. She is also the managing editor for the center’s journal, Mashriq & Mahjar: Journal of Middle East and North African Migration Studies. She obtained her MA in Public History from Texas State University and her dual BA in History & Art History from Washington University in St. Louis.

Katelyn Cuomo, Curatorial Specialist: Katelyn oversees the Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies Archive. She obtained her MA in Library and Information Science from UNC Greensboro and her BA in History at NC State.
