Dr. Moise Khayrallah
Dr. Moise Khayrallah emigrated from Lebanon to North Carolina in 1983 to attend graduate school. He earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill before he went on to become a biotech entrepreneur who has founded several drug-development companies.
Dr. Khayrallah has been active in philanthropy throughout his career and has given his time and resources in order to highlight the cultural and economic richness which immigrants have brought to America. He provides leadership in globalizing North Carolina, he is a patron of the arts and music, an avid reader an intellectual, and an impassioned speaker.
Dr. Khayrallah hopes that the legacy of the center he has created will reach far beyond the Lebanese community. The legacy will become not just about this particular community and this particular program, but will serve as a seed for communities and other programs that tell the story of how great America is because of what the Lebanese and other communities have made of it.
