2013 Summer Institute for Educators
As you may know, the Lebanese in North Carolina Project has been working with state-based educators in a collaboration designed to increase awareness of global influences in the state, foster a deeper knowledge of the role of Lebanese-Americans on the state’s history, culture, politics, religion and civic life, and to facilitate a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary conversation in classrooms around the state.
For those of you educators that signed up for the Summer Institute, it’s almost here!
Of course, we’ll be posting the notes from these sessions on the blog in the near future.
