Purchasing power!

There are so many upcoming events that seek to promote, celebrate and educate North Carolina residents of the diverse and strong international communities in the state. One event, in particular, is doing a wonderful job of celebrating all that the state has to offer: International Festival in Raleigh. If you don’t have time to volunteer for the festival, they’ve made it easy to get involved through the purchases you make online.

Amazon.com’s AmazonSmile program is a way to support a charitable organization, in this case International Focus, Inc. which is the charitable arm funding the International Festival each year. There are thousands (maybe millions!) of products with the “Eligible for AmazonSmile Donation” noted on them, so it doesn’t change your shopping experience.

If you’re like me, without a lot of time to volunteer for this great annual event, this could be a way to contribute!
